Reverend Edmund Chan has a twin passion in ministry — expository preaching and leadership mentoring. His insightful biblical teachings have made him a sought-after speaker indifferent major cities around the world, often with invitations 3–5 years ahead. After leading as the Senior Pastor of Covenant Evangelical Free Church (CEFC) for 25 years, Edmund implemented a successful leadership-succession plan in January 2012. Now as the Leadership Mentor, he continues to mentor top-level leaders within Singapore and beyond. These include CEOs, senior pastors and denominational leaders, theological educators as well as national and regional directors of para-church organisations. His present leadership focus is to champion the global vision for the IDMC movement through the Global Alliance of Intentional Disciple Making Churches (IDMC Global Alliance).
Pastor Ann Chan ministers actively alongside her husband, Reverend Edmund Chan, the Leadership Mentor of Covenant Evangelical Free Church (EFC), championing the IDMC vision around the world. A gifted leader and teacher, she has pioneered many of Covenant EFC’s ministries, including the Women-in-Covenant (WiC) ministry. No stranger to pain and suffering herself, she has been an empathetic and wise counsellor to many who have approached her over her years of ministry. An educator by training, Ann graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Christian Education (with honours) from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in 1994. She has also mentored, preached and taught in Hong Kong, Australia, America and London. She and Edmund have two daughters, Amanda and Belicia.
